This workshop is limited to twelve students. Our studio is just outside Bryson City, NC in the beautiful Nantathala Gorge.

Marlaine will teach hand sculpting into air-drying stone clay (Darwi Classic) based on human forms and proportions and painting the piece with watercolor.

Ankie will give inspiring lessons in clothing and finishing the doll in a personal way. You may bring your own fabrics and materials for the clothing or have the option of purchasing materials from Ankie and Marlaine. They will bring additional ribbons, trims, and books for sale.

We are very lucky to have these two high-energy artists in our area! Don't miss this dynamic duo! You may visit their websites: ankie-doll-art.com, marlaineverhelst.com and you will find links to one of heir five-day workshops at marlaineverhelst.com/blog/workshops.
